3.4.2. “My Life Curriculum”

This activity aims to open users to new ways of presenting their job-skills, life-skills or even hobbies. This will encourage learners to use digital platforms, from social media to wordpress and other platforms to display their Life or Job Skills. This activity allows a flexibility depending on who youre dealing with as a trainer: if they are more inclined to do a serious curriculum that will help them if they want to find a job or if they want to explore new hobbies – they will be learning new online enrivonments while creating something personal and useful.

Face-to-face:

1.Explain the activity to learners. Go through social media such as Instagram and explain how they can use it as a platform to create community of like-minded people or if they want a more serious platform like LinkedIn to create a profile where they can apply for jobs later. This first step is crucial and key so they feel comfortable navigating through these platforms and using them, and even thought the steps of using and joining the platforms are self-explanatory in their websites, its important that the trainers goes through them with the learners.

2.Let them find their own online space, ask them to sign up if they want and ask them to individually brainstorm what their online space will be like in terms of information, personality, etc.

3.Discuss and ask learners to share with the rest what their plans are for this space. If there is time, ask them to start their curriculum.
